WHY YOU SHOULD DRAIN & CLEAN YOUR HOT TUB REGULARLY

PLEASE REFRESH YOUR SPA’S WATER

Hot tub season is officially underway! With the weather getting colder, more and more people are looking to soak into something warm. As fall and winter are typically high hot tub usage months, we always advise our clients to really make sure that they keep on top of their hot tub maintenance.

We always recommend that hot tub owners drain and clean their spa at least every two months. Although Chlorine, salt and other sanitizing agents are regularly used to cleanse and keep your water sparkling, using your hot tub will inevitably introduce contaminants into your spa.

Why is my pool green?

Our Hotwater DRX professionals are happy to help you clean up that algae growth!

Pollen and metals can also cause a pool to turn g

WHEN IS IT TIME TO CALL THE HOTWATER DR? HOT TUB SERVICE AND REPAIR:

Hotwater DR. / February 4, 2022

Your hot tub’s pumps and its heating, water purification, and control systems all work together to create a great experience every time you use your spa. The fact that each system is easy to maintain is a testament to the engineering and craftsmanship of your spa. While there are some issues that you can fix yourself, the interplay of these different systems means that sometimes an expert is required to handle the problem.

ISSUES THAT REQUIRE EXPERT SERVICE

  • Repeated power shutdowns or losses. Repeated shutdowns may not only be due to GFCI shutdowns, but also to safety switches disconnecting. If you need to reset power often to operate the spa, call a Hotwater DRX service technician to determine the source of the problem.
